Bathroom Trends
Every year brings innovation and new products to the marketplace that homeowner just can't deny. Here are a few trends that stick out and make a statement.
Floating Bathroom Vanities
This style of bath vanity has become increasingly popular in the last few years, and for good reason. They provide a high end custom look with ease of maintenance.
There are a few different ways to create a floating vanity. You can install cabinetry, which will provide the necessary storage that most of our customers need. Or we can frame out a custom floating vanity, that can be finished with a variety of materials, such as tile, stone or wood.
Glass Tile
Glass tile is very popular right now, and almost every customer asks our opinion on it. We usually reccomend to use it sparingly, and to mix this with a classic material that will stand the test of time.Simply put, it can create a great finish in the right setting, but don't overdue it!

Frameless Shower Doors
These are not really a trend, they are really popular though and look great. We love to use the clear glass doors to display our tile work, and to help open up the space.
These shower doors come in a variety of colors and styles depending on the manufacturer. The brushed nickel finish as seen in the picture below is a great choice as fingerprints and water marks are less noticible.

Vessel Bowl Sinks
Vessel bowl sinks have become increasingly popular, and we have a large assortment on display in our showroom. These are great especially in powder rooms or guest bathrooms, where your visitors will see them.
Vessel bowls come in a variety of finishes including glass, metal and stone. Below is a sink from Kohler's designer collection.
Air Baths
Air baths are becoming increasing popular this year. The concept of an air bath is a bit different than a whirlpool. An air bath stimulates the light touch receptors just below the skin and promotes calming, relaxation and circulation.
This tub is great for those that do not need deep tissue stimulation, or for those with sensitive skin. This type of tub has many small air openings around the perimeter of the tub, instead of 6-10 large jets on a whirlpool.
