Northbrook Bathroom Remodel
This bathroom project was commisioned by a customer that has worked with us in the past, and it is always great to work with such a nice couple. This bathroom remodel was in Northbrook Illinois and took about 10 days to complete.
The floating vanity was really where the whole project started. Our customer feel in love with the style of the vanity and we built up the design around it. The overall design of this bath, is elegant yet modern.
We utilized Carrera Marble in the shower area, which is a traditional marble but when mixed with a modern porcelain tile and floating vanity; the marble takes on a whole new life. The grey veining in the marble plays nicely into the dark grey floor, and really brings the space together. The shower pan is a Swanstone solid surface, which is great for low maintenance.
For the shower faucets and custom shower door, we used a brushed nickel finish which adds to the modern feel of the bath. The wall mounted faucet is installed through the mirror, which looks clean and seamless.
In the shower, the HansGrohe faucets are functional and sleek. The bodyjets are great for resale value, and the handheld makes keeping the shower clean easy. And by creating a half wall, the bathroom feels much larger, and much brighter.
