About Bertch Cabinetry

Nestled in the heart of the Midwest, Bertch Cabinet Mfg. has been reviving the cherished art of traditional cabinetmaking for over 30 years. Family owned and operated, all products reflect a commitment to reforestation, recycling and a general respect for the environment.

Utilizing only the finest wood, furniture joints and exceptional finishes to create distinct products for the home. As a fully integrated US manufacturer, Bertch produces all their own components. Eco-friendly finishing technology minimizes emissions. Sawdust is regenerated to produce both heat and electricity. Community efforts include planting thousands of trees each year to ensure that the earth remains healthy.

Bertch Bath

Bertch Bath is a diverse bathroom line, as they offer something for everyone. The various options, and pricepoints make this the perfect starting point for any bathroom remodel. The selection is extensive as Bertch Bath offers 25 Unique door styles, 7 wood offerings, with 102 unique combinations.

They offer two different construction options, giving the customer the final say.

Standard Offering

Standard construction features their signature dovetail drawer, and incorporates 1/2” plywood
sides with a laminate interior, and wood exterior. Here is a breakdown of the standard offering:

• Natural Birch woodgrain laminate interior
• Backs are 1/8” Birch woodgrain laminate
• Floors ½” natural Birch woodgrain laminate
• Interiors are Birch woodgrain laminate

Premium Offering

Premium construction includes a 3” longer dovetail drawer with a high tech softmotion drawer glide. The sides are 3/4” plywood with real veneer inside and out.

• Floors ½” natural Birch woodgrain laminate
• Interiors are completely finished Natural Birch
• Toekicks 4 ½” tall

• Softmotion full extension Undermount drawer glides
• Allows for additional 3” in length on 21” deep base cabinets

Bertch Marketplace

Marketplace is a great middle of the road cabinet line. They offer a very nice looking cabinet, with an affordable pricepoint. This year they have released several new finishes and door styles, that make this line even more appealing.

Here is a detailed list of how the cabinet line is constructed:

Doors and Drawer Fronts:
Doors and Drawer Fronts are manufactured in house by Bertch Craftsmen.

Drawer Box:
Drawer box sides, front and back are 5/8" thick engineered board in Natural Birch Melamine.

Drawer Box Option:
Drawer box sides, front and back are 5/8" thick solid birch dovetailed at all four corners. Drawer bottoms are 1/4" thick plywood.

Drawer Slides:
Drawer slides are an epoxy coated undermount, 3/4 extension, self-closing on nylon rollers for silent movement. They are lifetime guaranteed and have a load rating of 75 pounds.

Undermount Soft Motion Full Extension Drawer Slides (UPGRADE):
Drawer slides are full extension undermount, soft motion self closing with an easy release
mechanism. They have a load rating of 100 lbs. per pair.

Frames:
Face frames are 1 1/2” x 3/4” solid wood.

Sides: Cabinet sides are 1/2" thick natural birch melamine interior and exterior.

Tops and Bottoms: Backs are 1/8" material with natural birch melamine.

Backs:
Backs are 1/4” natural birch plywood. Backs are set into solid wood cleats

Hardware:
Pulls and knobs are available in a variety of styles and are furnished with each order.

Shelves:
Shelves are 5/8" thick particleboard substrate with natural birch melamine both sides and front edge.

Toekick:
Base cabinets are supplied with 1/2" thick material.

Bertch Legacy

Legacy is a Semi Custom cabinet line, which gives our customers the ability to customize components without purchasing a custom cabinet. Legacy offers seven wood species; Alder, Birch, Cherry, Hickory, Maple, Oak, and Red Birch in 15 standard wiping stains and 6 solid color finishes.

From their standard offering you can select from 171 combinations! This is a very robust offering compared to most cabinet companies. In addition, the amount of SKU's or cabinet types that offer is much larger than the Marketplace series, giving you more design options.
